How Elder works

Participation, not prestige

Elder is earned by playing, and every input is something you control. Nothing here rewards trophies, card levels, or the Ranked league you reach. Elders should be 20–30% of the clan — at 50 members that is 10–15, and we aim at 13, the middle of the range rather than the bottom.

1

Who is considered

You need 28+ days in the clan, and you need to still be competing: at least one war day with a deck played in the last 14 days, or 5 or more ranked battles in the last 14.

2

What is scored

Three things, each ranked against the rest of the clan — war rate (decks used out of decks available over 28 days), ranked battles played, and donations averaged over four weeks. Competing is 65% of your score and donations are 35%. Within the competing half war leads, and ranked fills part of what war leaves, so doing both beats doing either. Finishing a war day counts extra: all four decks is worth about 2.7x two decks, not 2x. Doing none of something scores zero for it.

3

How many Elders

Two players too close to separate can both get in, up to 15. If nobody has earned it the count simply sits lower — nobody is promoted to hit a number. Sitting above the target is safe: the badge is lost by stopping playing, or by being clearly out-ranked. A near-tie keeps the current Elder — unless the member challenging them has been in the clan longer. Time served never earns Elder on its own, but it settles a close call.

4

Sustained, not a snapshot

Qualifying once does nothing. It takes three qualifying weeks in a row before a promotion even reaches leadership, who make the final call. Going the other way, walking away from war and ranked entirely costs the badge in two weeks; losing it to a higher-ranked member takes three.

Short version: play war, play ranked, donate steadily, and keep it up for a month. That is the whole thing.
